KALEIDOSCOPE, Issue 68

Abstract Rose seems to be trending!  It has now been published in my favorite disability arts magazine.

KALEIDOSCOPE, published since 1979, explores the experience of disability through literature and the fine arts.  Fiction, painting, photography, pencil sketches, sculpture, poetry, non-fiction, book reviews, and theater are all featured in various issues.

Unique to the field of disability studies, this award-winning publication expresses the diversity of the disability experience from a variety of perspectives including:  individuals, families, friends, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, among others.  The material chosen for KALEIDOSCOPE challenges and overcomes stereotypical, patronizing and sentimental attitudes about disability.
